QueryMoat is made by Sidhant Sinha, an individual developer based in India ("we"). This policy covers the QueryMoat extension, the querymoat-check tool, this website and QueryMoat Pro purchases. Questions go to [email protected].

The extension

QueryMoat runs on your computer. Its MCP server listens only on 127.0.0.1, and your queries go from your machine straight to your database. We never receive your database contents, credentials, connection details or queries, and the extension collects no telemetry or usage analytics.

When you activate QueryMoat Pro, the extension sends your licence key and the extension version to our payment partner's licence service to confirm the key is valid, and repeats that check from time to time. Nothing else is sent.

This website

querymoat.com is a static site. It sets no cookies and runs no analytics or advertising scripts. Our hosting provider keeps standard request logs, such as IP address and browser type, for security and to keep the site running. The page loads fonts from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address when it serves them.

Purchases

QueryMoat Pro is sold through a payment partner that acts as the merchant of record. It collects your name, email address, billing address and payment details, and processes them under its own privacy policy. We receive your name, email address, country and order details so we can deliver your licence, provide support and keep the records the law requires. We never see your full card details.

Email

If you email us, we keep the conversation so we can help you. We send email only about your purchase or support request; there is no newsletter unless you ask to join one.

How long we keep data

We keep purchase records for as long as tax and accounting law requires, and support emails for as long as they are useful for helping you. You can ask us to delete anything we are not required to keep.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal data we hold about you by emailing [email protected]. We answer within 30 days.

Changes

If this policy changes, we update this page and the date at the top. Significant changes are also noted in the extension's changelog.
